Finishing is a most important step in fabrication. Finishing is the final step in preparing Sheet Metal fabrication products for use. Finishing makes products more resistant to corrosion, adds an extra layer of durability and makes surfaces look their best. Finishing provides higher electrical, chemical or tarnish resistance. A product’s finish is determined by its use. Here are some factors considered when choosing a finishing method.
Aluminium Material Series

Aluminum: Material Series:As Machined ~125 RA µin (3.2 RA µm). Minor tool marks will be visible on the part.
Bead Blasted:Bead blasting adds a uniform matte or satin surface finish on a machined part, removing all tool marks. Mainly used for aesthetic purposes.
Anodized Clear or Color:Anodizing adds a thin, hard, non-conductive ceramic coating on the surface of aluminum parts, increasing their corrosion and wear resistance. Available in a variety of colors
Hard Anodized:Hardcoat anodizing produces a thicker ceramic coating providing excellent corrosion and wear resistance. for functional applications.
Power Coated:Powder coating adds a thin layer of strong, wear and corrosion resistant protective polymer paint on the surface of a part. Available in a large range of colors.
Brushing:Brushing is produced by polishing the metal with grit resulting in a unidirectional satin finish.
Polish: Polishing can make products achieve vey glossy and smooth surface roughness
Painted:Painting adds a thin layer of strong ,wear and corrosion resistant protective polymer paint on the surface of a part. Availabe in a large range of colors
Alodine:Alodine is an inexpensive solution to prevent aluminum from oxidizing . there are two types: conductive and Non-conductive

Passivated:Passivation is the process of treating or coating a metal in order to reduce the chemical reactivity of its surface.
Chromate Plated:It is used for decorating purpose, chrome plating can also serve as a layer of protection as well. It is applied to metal objects when three is an increased opportunity for corrosion to occur
